I left Honilands in 1962 to live in Leicester because of my dad's job. I planted a tree round by the fence when I was there and we lived over the road at 1 Lovell Road. The headmaster was Mr Stringer. The website is lovely so many good memories.

I came across your website as I now work for Goffs School and we have one of your year 6's joining us in September. I was a pupil at Honilands from 1954 until 1961 and enjoyed every minute! The infant school head was Miss Clifton & Mr Stringer was head of Junior's. I remember especially the trip to St. Mary's Bay in the 4th year Junior's (year 6) when we won 'the best school' . I was very proud to be in the netball team too when we won the Shield for beating all the schools in the area in my last year at Honilands. I am still in touch with some of my friends from that time. Keep up the good work!

Hi just looked up your website for the first time to show my wife, I think I designed the badge that was on the virtual tour. I am 36 years old now and I used to live at the back of the football pitch on the A10, I used to jump over the fence to get to school.

What a brilliant website ! I am the Bookstart Co-ordinator for Enfield, and I am coming to the library on Wednesday 5th. April to read to the nursery group and give out the Bookstart Treasure Boxes. I am glad to see that the Nursery topic this term has been food, as I am thinking of reading 'Sam's Sandwich' See you there
