Walking to School

As you know parking outside the school is difficult.  We also get complaints from our neighbours as some parents park across driveways. If you live less than a mile away could you walk to school? There are many benefits;

·                keeping fit,

·                having good conversations with your children,

·                meeting friends,

·                doing your bit to prevent global warming

·                and less congestion means it’s safer for the children

Of course, it means changing routines at home and leaving earlier but everyone benefits. If you normally come to school by car and start walking please see me Mr Silverman as he will be so proud of you! Thanks!

Spanish Club

Miss Sallanpaa will be running a Spanish club after school starting Tuesday 25th February for

students in Years 5 and 6. If you interested please ensure you have filled out the slip you should have received.

Half term holiday

Please note that we break up for half term on Friday. We return to school on Tuesday 25th February at the normal time. On Monday the school is closed for staff training.

Thanks to all the parents who came to listen to the school nutritionist talk about healthy packed lunches last week. We found it very informative. Do you know how much salt some foods contain? Interesting very interesting!
