Other School Clubs

Netball

Netball Club - is open to Year 4 , 5 and 6 boys and girls. It takes place after school on Tuesdays during the Spring and Autumn terms.

We are involved in the Enfield Netball League and enjoy playing matches against other schools

Football

Tag Rugby

TAG Rugby - is a non-contact version of rugby for Year 5 and 6 children. The children wear 'TAG' belts and once they are tagged they have to pass the ball to another player.

We are involved in the league matches with other Enfield Schools.
TAG Rugby takes place on Thursdays after school in the
Spring and Autumn terms.

 

Athletics

 

Track & Field - in preparation for the Borough events which take place in June and July. This is open to all Key Stage 2 children.

Ball Skills

Ball Skills - is for Year 4 and 5 children. This club takes place in the Summer term. Children develop their throwing and catching skills in preparation for netball in the following September.

Active Lunchtimes

Jamie from Foundation Football comes in to work with different year groups at lunchtimes.  The main aim is to enable children to have fun at lunchtime.  The focus is  on team skills, fitness, coordination - mainly catching and throwing games.The children play various games like Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter and a Bean Bag Hunt - all non-contact games.

 

Active Lunchtimes actively promote children being  'Good Sportspeople'

 

Soccer Revolution

Stel from Soccer Revolution runs this very successful, after school club.  Charges this term are £35.  The club runs every Wednesday throughout the school year.  If you would like to know more about joining speak to Stel on Wednesday, after school.

Chess 

 Run by Mrs Crouch at lunchtimes, this club will be back by popular demand.............

 

 

Homework

 

This club is held on Tuesdays at lunchtime - so if you have any problems with your homework - come along.......

 

Fitness

Run by Mark Whittington, he says that this is fitness without the football.  Mind you Mark is somewhat of an expert on football being an ex under 18 England player.

Website

 

The website club will be starting soon.  If you think that you are a future webmaster then come along to this lunchtime club and put forward your ideas!

Art

Art club will be starting in January 2006.  There will be a charge for taking part, mainly to cover materials costs.  More information to follow...

Sewing

Sewing  Club is held on a Wednesday breaktime, 10.45am open to Year 6 children. 

ICT

This popular club is run on Tuesday and Wednesday lunchtimes.  You will have the chance to learn how to touch type and to surf the internet.
